1976
Big R - 1975
(Produced by Juan Pablo Torres)
Seven songs from the 1975 LP and five songs from the 1976 LP.
This is from my favorite period... the 1970's.
The band during this time had a drummer (drum set/traps) who laid down some of the most awesome '70s "Onda Nueva Areito funk" drumming you'll hear, other than Blás Egües and Changüito.
The band also had an electric bass player who was also a killer "Cuban Funketeo" player.
The electric keyboards were most likely from/made in eastern bloc countries and they sound great.
(1970's - 85 percent of Cuban trade was with the USSR or Eastern Bloc countries, including musical instruments)
El Maestro 'Tito Gomez' who was the bands early original lead singer only sings on *two songs on the 1975 LP.
All ripped @ 320 from the original vinyl LP's and "painstakingly" cleaned & trimmed with 'Goldwave V.5'
THE RIVERSIDE "FUNKETEO MIX"1. En Casa No Trompo Bailes - '76
2. Bailare Solo - '76
3. Yo So El Que Tu Quieres - '76
4. Asi Mi Nena - '76
5. Es Una Niña - '76
6. Alboroto - '76
7. A Bailar Con La River' - '76
8. La Chica Complicada - '75 (canta *Tito Gomez)
9. Haz Lo Que Tú Quieras - '75
10. Es Nuestro Aniversario - '75
11. Suelta Ese Chaquetón - '75
12. La Noche Es Joven Para Amar - '75
13. Tú Eres Mi Bombón - '75 (canta *Tito Gomez)
En Casa No Trompo Bailes - '76
